ForeverPet Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Praising Jesus Christ for Life LLC ("we," "us"), a Michigan limited liability company, covering your use of the ForeverPet app. By downloading or using ForeverPet, you agree to these Terms.

 

1. What ForeverPet is

ForeverPet is a companionship and remembrance experience. It creates an augmented-reality companion inspired by a photo of your dog and lets that companion respond to wellness information you choose to share from Apple Health. It is designed with care for people honoring the memory of a pet.

 

2. Your license to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use ForeverPet on Apple devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store terms.

 

3. Your content

The photo you provide and your pet's name remain yours. They are stored on your device, and you can delete them at any time. You agree to use only photos you have the right to use.

 

4. ForeverPet is not a medical or mental-health service

ForeverPet is not a medical device and does not provide medical care, mental-health treatment, therapy, counseling, grief counseling, or diagnosis of any kind. The companion's responses to wellness data are an entertainment and comfort feature, not health advice, monitoring, or alerts. Do not rely on ForeverPet to detect or respond to any health condition or emergency. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911. If you are experiencing emotional distress or a mental-health crisis, you can call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) in the United States, or contact a licensed professional.

 

5. Subscriptions and purchases

ForeverPet is currently free to use. We may offer optional paid subscriptions or purchases in the future. If we do, they will be billed through your Apple account at prices shown in the app before you buy; any subscription would renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, manageable in your Apple account settings, with fees handled by Apple under Apple's refund policies. We will update these Terms before any paid features launch.

 

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, including attempting to reverse-engineer it, use it unlawfully, or interfere with its operation.

 

7. Our property

The app, including its software, design, 3D models, animations, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property law (patent pending). These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.

 

8. Disclaimers

ForeverPet is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Augmented-reality experiences depend on your device, environment, and lighting, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

 

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

 

10. Changes to the app or these Terms

We may update the app and these Terms. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

 

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
