ForeverPet Privacy Policy

ForeverPet is made by Praising Jesus Christ for Life LLC ("we," "us"). ForeverPet helps you honor the memory of a beloved dog through an augmented-reality companion that responds to your wellness. We built it so that your personal information stays on your device. This policy explains exactly what the app uses and what never leaves your phone.

 

ForeverPet has no accounts, no ads, and no analytics trackers. Your photo, your pet's name, and your health data are processed on your device and are never uploaded to us or anyone else. We could not sell your data if we wanted to — we never receive it.

 

1. Information the app uses — all of it stays on your device

- Your pet's photo. You choose a photo from your library. The app analyzes it on your device (using Apple's on-device image technology) to detect your dog, its breed, and coat color, and stores the photo on your device so your companion can be recreated. The photo is never uploaded.

- Your pet's name and your app settings. Stored on your device only.

- Health data. With your permission, the app reads heart rate, step count, sleep, and exercise minutes from Apple HealthKit so your companion can respond to how you are doing. This data is read and processed entirely on your device. It is never transmitted off your device, never stored by us, never shared with third parties, and never used for advertising or marketing of any kind.

- Camera. The camera feed powers the augmented-reality view so your companion appears in your space. The feed is displayed live and is not recorded or stored by the app.

- Microphone and speech. Voice commands work only while you hold the microphone button. Audio is processed by Apple's speech recognition technology to understand your command; depending on your device and iOS settings, Apple may process that audio on its servers under Apple's own privacy terms. We do not receive or store recordings or transcripts.

- Notifications. Care reminders (like feeding times) are scheduled locally on your device. You can turn them off in the app's settings or in iOS Settings at any time.

 

2. What we do not do

We do not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share your personal information. The app contains no third-party analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no tracking. There is no account to create, so there is no account database holding your information.

 

3. Purchases

ForeverPet currently offers no paid features. If we offer subscriptions or purchases in the future, payment would be handled entirely by Apple through your Apple account — we would never see your payment card details, and Apple's privacy policy would govern payment processing.

 

4. Deleting your data

Because everything lives on your device, you are in control: use the app's delete/reset option, or delete the app, and the photo, name, settings, and all stored values are removed. Health data remains in Apple Health, which you control separately; ForeverPet keeps no copy.

 

5. Children

ForeverPet is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

 

6. Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles information, we will update this policy and the effective date above before the change takes effect.
